How it works
- The site is always checked from the main infrastructure — that's the baseline availability.
- A Premium user additionally selects one or more location nodes in the site settings.
- A down alert fires by consensus of the selected nodes over the last 10 minutes — reducing false positives from local network issues.
Why you need it
- Confirmation of a real outage rather than a network issue at a single ISP.
- Watching site availability from the exact regions where your audience is.
- Transparent history — the admin shows which node returned which result.
Where it's especially useful
E-commerce with buyers in several countries — checking from key customer regions.
A B2B service with foreign partners — guaranteed visibility outside Russia.
Insurance against regional network incidents — a false alert won't wake you at night.
FAQ
How do I pick nodes for my site?
In the web panel open the site settings (Dashboard → Site → Settings), and in the «Monitoring regions» block check the locations you need. For Free accounts the block is shown with a lock and an upgrade offer.
What happens if a selected node is temporarily unavailable?
The main infrastructure keeps checking the site independently. Location nodes count toward consensus only if they returned a result in the last 10 minutes.
Can I see which node returned which status?
Yes, the site detail page's «Monitoring regions» block shows the selected locations, and the admin has a distribution map and a feed of recent checks tagged by node.
