Cookie Policy

What cookies are, which of them UptimeDog uses and how you can control their use.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a site stores on your device via the browser. They help the site remember your actions and settings (for example, signing in to your account) throughout a session and between visits.

2. Which cookies we use

2.1. Strictly necessary

These provide the basic operation of the site: authentication, session storage, protection against CSRF attacks. Without them part of the service won't work. These cookies are set automatically and don't require separate consent.

  • ud_admin — a signed admin panel session token. HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, lifetime — 8 hours.
  • Google OAuth authentication cookies — when signing in with Google.

2.2. Functional

These save your preferences (for example, the theme, the interface language). They can be disabled in the browser without losing access to core functionality.

  • ud_cookie_consent — your choice regarding analytics cookies (accepted/rejected). Stored in localStorage.

2.3. Analytics

With your consent we collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the quality of service. The following data is collected:

  • Pages viewed
  • Browser and operating system type
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
  • Referrer
  • IP address (to determine the country)

We don't use third-party web analytics systems (Google Analytics, Yandex.Metrica, etc.). All data is stored on our servers and is not shared with third parties. You can opt out of analytics collection via the cookie consent banner on your first visit.

3. Third-party cookies

When using functionality related to Telegram and Google (authorization, payments), the respective services may set their own cookies. Their use is governed by those services' policies:

4. How to manage cookies

You can delete stored cookies and block their storage via your browser settings. Links to instructions:

Note: disabling strictly necessary cookies may make it impossible to sign in to your account and use some service features.

6. Policy changes

We may update this Policy. The current version is always published at /docs/cookies.

7. Contacts
